1. Access to the Gym
- The gym facilities are available to registered hotel guests during their stay and residents holding a valid gym membership.
- Access may be refused where membership is inactive or suspended, or where these Terms & Conditions are not complied with.
- Members may be asked to provide proof of identity or membership upon request.
2. Memberships and Payments
- Membership fees are payable monthly or annually in advance.
- Membership fees are non-transferable and may not be shared with any other person.
- Hustyns reserves the right to review membership fees periodically and will provide reasonable notice of any changes.
3. Membership Cancellation
- All membership fees are non-refundable. Once payment has been made for any monthly or annual membership, no refunds or credits will be issued under any circumstances
4. Opening Hours
- The gym is open daily from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.
- Opening hours may be amended from time to time due to maintenance, operational requirements, or special circumstances.
5. Health and Fitness
- Members and guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate in physical exercise.
- Anyone with a medical condition, injury, or health concern, or who is pregnant, should seek appropriate medical advice before using the facilities.
- Users should stop exercising immediately if they feel unwell and notify a member of staff.
6. Age Restrictions
- The minimum age to use the gym facilities is 18 years.
- Anyone under the age of 18 is not permitted to use the gym equipment or facilities.
7. Safe Use of Equipment
- All equipment must be used responsibly and only for its intended purpose.
- Users should follow any instructions displayed on equipment and any guidance provided by staff.
- Any faulty, damaged, or unsafe equipment must be reported immediately and should not be used until inspected.
8. Conduct and Hygiene
- All users are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, guests, and fellow members.
- Equipment must be wiped down after use using the cleaning materials provided.
- Smoking, vaping, alcohol consumption, and the use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the gym facilities.
- Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
9. CCTV Monitoring
- CCTV is in operation throughout the leisure facilities for the safety and security of guests, members, staff, and property.
- CCTV footage may be reviewed where necessary for security, safety, or investigative purposes.
10. Personal Belongings
- Personal belongings are brought into the facilities at the owner’s risk.
- Hustyns accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property unless caused by our negligence.
11. Damage Fee Applicable to Equipment and Facilities
- Users are expected to treat all equipment and facilities with care and respect.
- Any damage caused through deliberate misuse, negligence, or reckless behaviour may result in the individual being liable for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
12. Liability
- Use of the gym facilities is undertaken at the user’s own risk.
- Users are responsible for exercising within their own capabilities and following all safety guidance.
- Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
13. Suspension or Termination of Membership
- Hustyns reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership without refund where a member breaches these Terms & Conditions, endangers others or engages in inappropriate behaviour.
- Access may also be suspended where membership fees remain unpaid.
14. Changes to These Terms
- Hustyns reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
- The latest version will be made available on our website and will apply from the date of publication.
